Arc Flash Studies in Georgia
Arc flash, short circuit and coordination studies for Georgia facilities, from a Georgia firm. Field data is collected by our own engineers and every report is sealed by a Georgia-licensed PE. More than 25 projects completed across the state.

Why use a Georgia firm for your study
Field work without travel premiums
We're based in Middle Georgia, so most sites in the state are a day trip. Field data collection is scheduled around your shutdown window, not around flights.
We know Georgia utility data
Studies start from the serving utility's available fault current and transformer data. We request it from Georgia Power, the EMCs and municipal systems as part of every scope, and we document what each utility provides.
Sealed by a Georgia-licensed PE
Every Georgia study is sealed by a professional engineer licensed in Georgia, so it satisfies owners, insurers, AHJs and design teams.
Municipal procurement experience
Counties and cities run on requisitions and procurement cycles. You get a fixed fee you can put on a purchase order, plus documentation sized for council or board approval.
Georgia projects by sector
Client names are confidential. Here is the kind of work we’ve done across the state.
Water & wastewater
Treatment and reclamation plants, wells and chemical-feed buildings, pump stations and elevated tanks for Georgia counties and cities. This is our largest sector.
Manufacturing & food processing
Plant-wide arc flash and coordination studies, distribution mapping and equipment tagging for Middle Georgia manufacturers.
Distribution & commercial
Distribution centers, retail redevelopments, offices and churches, including generator-backed sites where the standby source drives the worst-case labels.
Healthcare & campus utilities
A critical-access hospital and a healthcare central utility plant, where coordination of the essential electrical system matters as much as the labels.

Georgia arc flash study FAQ
Yes. We have completed studies in the Atlanta metro area for distribution and retail facilities, and we schedule Atlanta field work regularly from our Middle Georgia base.
The main driver is the number of protective devices and buses studied, then the number of services, voltage levels and sites. Our cost calculator gives a budgetary range, and a fixed fee follows a short scoping call. Georgia sites avoid the travel cost that out-of-state firms build in.
Georgia employers fall under federal OSHA, which requires employers to assess electrical hazards. NFPA 70E 130.5 is the consensus standard OSHA relies on for how to do it, including the five-year review. Insurers and corporate EHS programs in Georgia increasingly ask for the study date.
Yes. Much of our Georgia work is for counties and cities, either directly or as the studies subconsultant to the design engineer on a plant expansion.
